Hope someone can help me. I've fished the area of St. Andrews Bay, jetties and nearshore a few times, but was looking for someone with some inside info that might increase my chances a little. Last year I fished for kings mostly west out of the jetties in 20-50 ft with some success using drone spoons on planers, cigar minnows with dusters and inline weights, Stretch 20, 25, 30 plugs in pink, chartreuse, dolphin, and blue colors. I also trolled for Spanish with mackerel tree rigs and used gotcha plugs both with limited success. Didn't see many schoolies during my stay.

1. Does anyone have any pointers for king or Spanish in P.C?

Also, I've done very little bottom fishing in the area and was wondering what terminal tackle, baits, and species would be encountered in state waters? I have a 175 Scout Sportfisher and can get to most spots within 10 miles on good days. I am borrowing a small GPS that has the Gulf maps loaded on it, but haven't used it before and don't know how much it would help me locate the spots that are shown on the online maps that show obstructions, reefs, fish havens, etc. I'm not asking for numbers, but general locales/directions where I might could keep the boys busy with some decent bottom fishing.

2. Can anyone direct me a little on the bottom fishing techniques/locations in the P.C. area?

Thanks,

Coach
