Can't comment on the radio, but I have the antenna you showed on my boat. I love it. It's only 4' but it has a 4.5db gain. I bought mine from Bethel-Marine in Miami for $67.00 two years ago. I think the phone number is 877-998-boat. Not real sure, but they did have the best price.

Yea Bethel in Melbourne has it for that price, thats why I was looking at the JRC also.

Damn sorry that I mailed it from my internet interface (which) doesn't save my sent box and have deleted it since.

Maybe they have an internet specials section on their website?
