Looking for a female black lab puppy. Does anyone know a local breeder that would have any for sale soon?

Hunting quality, show quality, or pet quality?

Shouldn't be hard to find. Most "profishest" dogs I've ever seen! Good luck and let us know what you find. Look in the Animal Shelters. Anything can be found there: fishing, hunting, breeding or possibly show quality?

Also try the Animal Service Center (the shelter) over by Tom Brown, or Gadsden and Thomasville Shelters.

If you're going for pet quality, adopt. Don't buy from a breeder.

If you're only wanting pet quality, stay out of the Thomas, Grady, north Leon county areas.

I'd start at shelter's. Both of our's came from local "breeders" meaning they just happened to have puppies but didn't market or puppy mill them.

I don't have a puppy, but I have an AKC Chocolote 2 year old I will give to a good home. She has been spade and we raise puppies and she cannot help us. She has a big block head and weighs 85 pounds. Needs room to run.

Labs are the best dogs I've ever owned but none are worth killing until at least age 2. be prepared to have your whole life chewed up.
