Sebile problem

I did what I told myself I would not do, that is purchase a $15.00 Sebile lure. I picked up one of the suspending stick shadds last week and used it on Saturday. It worked great and I ended up catching more fish than my buddy who was using a mirrodine. When we finished fishing Saturday morning I noticed that the sebile lure was missing 90% of it's paint and graphics. What once was polished silver and pearl is now just plain ole dull plastic. I caught a fair amount of fish using it on Saturday, probably a dozen trout, one red and another dozen or more ladyfish. Still, I would not have expected all the paint to come off after only one trip.

I sent Sebile an email monday morning letting them know how easily the paint came off their lure and they responded yesterday afternoon that if I sent them the lure they would replace it. Just thought I would let you guys know my experience and was curious if anyone else has had a similar experience using Sebile lures. Glad to see Sebile is wiling to stand behind their products, but I'm not sure it is worth purchasing more of them if you have to send them back to Sebile after every fishing trip!

A lure manufacturer's dream come true: a lure that costs lots, catches fish and self-destructs!

They could not be any worse than Bite-a-Baits!

you might have had a silver and pearl but now you've got bone. That's a heck of a lure, $15.00 and you get 2 different colors out of it, shoot that's only $7.50 a color. Not bad money.

Thank you so much for this post.

I have been thinking of buying one myself but now I'm not so sure. I suspect it will cost you $5.00 to mail it back not counting time and trouble, hum?

Same thing goes for the Redfin Cotton Cordile plugs. I can't like an expensive lure that is good for just one trip.

Stopped by Kevin's to look at the Sebile Stick Shads. They don't have any in, been in back order for 2 months. Apparently the company changed hands and has had some production issues.

Always the optimist, sept most of the stick shads have a clear body. Clear works well too.

Never heard of spray paint? Make it any color you want.

Or buy 'em clear and paint 'em up whatever color you want. http://www.mudhole.com/Lure-Building/Cr ... Hard-Baits
