Heading back down to steinhatchee this coming weekend and wanted to fish north of the steinhatchee river. When i had my old aluminum center console i use to put in at dallas creek and catch reds and trout. I now have a deep trophy center console, so i am gonna try and find dallas creek from the steinhatchee river. does anyone know how far it is from the Number 1 marker. I remember seeing a white post sticking out of the ground at the mouth of the creek, but it has been a few years. any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy

It's about 8 miles. Problem is getting in there from the gulf. It's a good place to get stranded when the tide goes out.

Thanks for the tip in the charts, I guess i overlooked them. Hopefully i can find the fish this weekend.
