Fresh and salt 5/30, 5/31

Monday got into a bunch of small bass in PineyZ and later in a pond in Jefferson county. Fun on the 4wt, with a #8 BH wooley in brown. On Tuesday had an hour or so to fish a creek between SP and Panacea. Got into ladyfish thick, again fun on the 4wt. Surprised by a trout big enough to break off my then frayed 6lb leader. Switched to 10lb and a small clouser with weighted eyes, caught more ladies, then moved out to the beach and missed a couple of reds before being broken off by a big one. Need to learn to keep the 6wt in the truck
