here is the new fly i tied, the tarpon triple threat. This should help with the missed fish...we should do a fly swap sometime, I have some more killers for red carp

5/0 eagle claw red stinger treble
olive rabbit strip
purple rabbit wrap
purple flash chenille

tie the rabbit as a tail, then wrap the purple rabbit around the hook near the tail. Wrap the rest with purple chenille, done.

Hope you mashed the barbs down to compensate for that errant cast cross wind

What kind of materials are you using to tie your dynamite stick flies?
