Kikkin' Myself

Only had enough time to get out for a few hours Sat morn.
Quick trip out to 30' and started chumming and fishing mid-column.
Of course two gags right off the bat, frustrating but a good sign.
Then I pull in the biggest spanish I ever seen. We thought it was a king.
Strike one...
Then my buddy then hooks the smallest cobia I have ever seen.
We laugh, but hope mama is around.
I quickly retrieve my live pin to cast out to where he hooked up and, baaawaaammm...from right under the boat comes mama.
20 minutes later and we got a personal and boat record.
Strike two...
I spent a few days before the weekend debating on entering the BBSC.
Seein' that I was only gonna be able to be out there a few hours.....I really couldn't justify the entry fee...
Steee-rike three...i am kikin myself now.
Didn't weigh them. i don't wanna know.
