No, not by me! Liberal media intentionally desecrates the Pledge of Allegiance and then just says "we're sorry."
U.S. Open reigning body should sanction NBC and not allow them to broadcast their events or they have no balls (no pun intended) either!

NBC Apologizes for Omitting 'Under God' From Pledge During U.S. Open Broadcast
Published June 19, 2011
BETHESDA, Md. -- NBC issued an on-air apology Sunday for omitting the words "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance during its coverage of golf's U.S. Open.
The words were edited out of a clip of children reciting the oath -- a move immediately noted by viewers, who took to Twitter and various blogs to voice their anger, the Huffington Post reported.
In a statement during the broadcast, NBC commentator Dan Hicks said, "We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago and when we did it was our intent to begin the coverage of this U.S. Open Championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being held in our nation's capital for the third time.
"Regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone and we'd like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it."
The words "under God" were not in the original pledge from 1892 and were not added until 1954.

Scott Pelley, the newsman that replaced Couric on CBS, is interesting to watch.

He's more "news" oriented and less sensationalism.

He's only been on a short time so we'll see how he defines himself.

Surely you are not associating Queen Biatch Couric and sensationalism?
I have to admit Couric continues to prove liberal feminism alive and well. Anyone think a male announcer could drag a "major" evening newscast to its lowest ratings ever and be rewarded with
a new show?

If what happened during the U.S. Open is an example of the "new" NBC then what is new? In your face liberal agenda it seems is still alive and well!

Most folks thought Scott would turn this job down. He is actually a journalist and not a celebrity type. We will see how long it takes the socialist directors to get him to be more crazy to compete with the loons on MSNBC. Maybe he and Madcow can do a show together in the future.

I grew up watching Walter Cronkite but I don't watch any of 'em these days. The agenda is just too obvious. I use other sources to get news.
