Fishing/Scalloping Keaton beach 6/25/11

Took my bossman, a friend and his boy today. Launched at 7:00 pretty quick and headed out. The fish were hard to come by and we only ended up with 1 trout(many shorts for the boss) and 1 blackseabass. Got in the water at 10:00 and the scallops were even harder to find. We looked from Grassy all the way to Addams beach. They could not be seen from the boat so we had to get in and look, over and over again. Wound up with less than a pint of meat today. There were tons of boats there that weren't doing any better. Hope someone found them.

I already told ya'll to wait a few weeks.
You snag the babies now and there won't be any next year.

We left the babies and picked up some nice ones, just not many. I was hoping to spear a flounder but did not see any. One good thing, the couple times a year crowd might not think it's worth it and not come back. They were out there in anything that floats, and I mean anything.
