Newbie question, but what do these reefs usually ? Just black seabass and small grunts or something/anything else? Or nothing?

Cobia, grouper, flounder, stingrays, sharks, spade fish, sea bass but have never caught a grunt there. Good for winter time gag grouper. :D

A freelined live pinfish is usually good for a shark. 3 to 4 rooters were pretty common last time I fished it - a couple of years ago probably. Last time we were dropping some cut bait to the bottom, remoras were hitting it before we could get the bait down.

Got out to St. Marks Reef today. Caught a few ramoras, got into a couple small cobia, some black sea bass, and did pull 3-4 grunts in about 45 minutes. Good time had by all.
