For pulling my dumb tale off of an oyster bar this morn at 7:00. Lesson learned, never try to follow your track on your GPS without looking at the channel markers. I accomplished putting a 22' Skeeter on top of an oyster bar at daylight this morning and scratched the fiberglass off a pretty good sized area on the bottom of my boat. Any suggestions on what to do or where to carry the boat. Did catch some nice trout on topwater though.

Maybe he can match the color. It is a bone color. I sure hated to admit this happened but had to give prompts to SeaTow.

Hey Steve, I also figured out aluminum is alot easier to push of a bar than fiberglass. Haha

CT: If it will make you feel better, I will tell on myself. Two years ago, I lodged my SeaPro SV2100 (21feet) on an oyster bar on the Bay side at SGI State Park. The tide was falling, lightening was popping everywhere, I had my wife and two daughters with me, so we had to walk out (through the storm). My wife fell and cut her hand pretty good on an oyster, I had to leave my boat tied off over night (with everything on board). I ended up getting a kayak from the Park Ranger first thing the next morning and paddled out and retrieved my boat. This was BEFORE I got SeaTow. I hope I don't do it again, but if I do, I'll be calling them.
