That new Yamaha 70 four stroke is a bad dude Redbelly. It is a light fourstroke, you should check it out.

It is about 50 lbs lighter than the Hatsu and the etec!

tohatsu for me my 40 hp weights 156 lbs and is real strong

Most e-tec's don't require any maintenance for the first 300 hours, unlike the four strokes, though you do have to purchase 2-stroke oil constantly.

I have been told that Etec's are 80% plastic and high labor time to work on. Whereas Tohatsu is easier to work on less labor= less mechanic charge.
I like that TLDI technology.
