Thoughts on todays weather for St. Marks

we were thinking of going out, but I just can't tell if it is worth it today. Thoughts?

The way the radar looks right now, I doubt that you would stay dry for very long. It will likely just get worse as the sun heats things up :beer:

I wish I was able to be in it today. It looks much better than tomorrow.

yesterday was WET and HOT all in one morning
then the bad weather started
but we did get 2 reds and 3 trout
it looked like it was going to do it today so i stayed home

tides are good in the afternoon. Good luck.....avoid the lightning. I would be out there but dad's bday dinner.

we waved off for today...stayed in a vegged out, nice to not do anything for day

We went out today around 9 with about 3 other boats scalloping. Headed back in around 12:30 when it was getting pretty dark. There was a nice break in the weather right over St. Marks all morning. We kept a keen eye on the radar and figured we'd head in before the first sign of trouble. It was tough sledding, though, with the overcast sky and yesterday's rains not really allowing good water clarity. Probably pretty stupid thing to do, but it didn't get us...this time :roll:
