Watched Roland "Oh Son" Martin tear up some Venice reds on these today. Anyone tried them?
Highroller Website $10.99 each

, guess that would knock a few frugal ones for a loop

Good lures--great action. I like the walking plug with the exagerated aft weight. But, they're expensive enough to make you cry when a ladyfish wears through the leader.

Unless you are Roland "Oh Son" Martin and you get to write them off of your taxes.

Roland doesn't even have to write them off. He gets them for free. Have you noticed his shows have turned into infomercials?

Hmm?
10K +/- for a boat
15K +/- for a vehicle to pull it
1K +/- in tackle, electronics, etc to get started
$10.99 for a lure that could put the limit in the boat?
How much will you pay to catch a limit of trout

Chalk, sounds like we think alike. Add to what you listed "If you're afraid you're gonna lose a bait, you don't need to be fishin."

Chalk, some of us don't have that kind of inheritance ta work with.
This from the man who wrote.....
Looking for a Gheenoe Classic (the big one) 15'6", prefer a piece of chit (cheap) one, something in bad shape (thats my price range )....Doesn't have to have a trailer or seats, just the hull....Even take one with a hole in it.....

Chances are good that a big spanish or bluefish is not going to put a hole in the boat, or wreck my truck though.

I'd rather toss cheap stuff if it works. Last spring I caught a legal AJ on an Oreo cookie. They were busting anything we threw so I tried it for a laugh.
(Actually, it was a Dollar Store brand Oreo clone, Creme-O. They're less expensive)
