Am I the only one sick of all the "Good Monday Morning" and "Good Tuesday Morning" and "Good Thursday Morning" and "Belated Good Wednesday Morning" posts?
Off topic is one thing, but posting for no reason at all is a bit much.
At least give us a word of the day, or a daily joke or something...
If a whole thread consists of "Good morning" - dont click "Submit". Save the bandwidth and server space.

I can see how some threads might not make a lot of sense but the folks that participate in the Good Mornings provide a lot of expert advice on the forum. Part of the Good Morning is probably to check to see who's awake. I read them daily and find tips on weather thrown in among other tid bits of information. I cringed when I read your post and thought....uh oh...craps gonna fly on this one. Good luck, keep your head down and tight lines!

Good morning to all of you in return! LOL!
Im not worried about crap flying my direction...my skin is plenty thick. I just thought it was funny. I saw quite a few new posts in this section since I didnt get to check the forums for a few days and 80% of them were "Good morning" threads.
It's all in good fun.
And if anybody gets their panties in a bunch over my post, thats on them, not me.

I just speak my mind and don't mind that others do so
The Good Mornin post are a way of say "hey y'all, I'm still kickin" and to maybe communicate what you may be doing or did overnight
sometimes it's the only communication we may have with a member of the forum, but at least it's communication and that is what the forum is for

Was wondering if we could start a " GOOD AFTERNOON" post. That would help me make it through the end of the day. You know a kind of pick me up to raise my spirits and help with the afternoon drag.

With an aging population I'd imagine daily confirmation that members havent passed away in their sleep is a good thing.
