This is a custom 7' fast action, medium power spinning rod I built earlier this year.

Fuji micro guides with Hardloy inserts

This rod is just about as light as they come and very sensitive.

I'm just not sure about that split rear grip I gotts a fairly big hand How does it compare to a regular grip "in diameter"?

The cork grips in front of and behind the reel seat are 1" long with 1.05" the largest OD.
Unless you hold a spinning reel really weird, hand totally behind or in front of the reel foot, your hand rarely touches the mid section of the rod.

The wife says I got PLENTY already and especially for someone who can't even fish right now talk about kickin a man when he's down it'll make a hellofadeal for someone though
