(Clouds + Muddy Water) / (Wind + Poor Casting Skills) = Tough day on the water!!

Finally found some cleaner water and got one to the boat after loosing 2 at hook set... Went with a lighter tippet and that was a mistake!

There's two of these dudes running around the lake with my flies!!

Still a good day to be on the lake enjoying a fine fall day!! I'll take it!!

It's the common carp.... Fun fish on the fly!!

Thanks! It holds my stripping basket when I'm moving from place to place. I can just leave the line out in it and put the rod in and go!
