Short day on the water

Went to St George with my girlfriend and my dog yesterday. Walked out to the sand bar and cast out to see if anything was bitin...30 seconds later, stepped on a sting ray and OUCH! Got a barb straight through the side of my right foot. I didn't realize how bad it would hurt, but oh man, talk about pain. Had to swim back to shore and call it a day. Moral of the story...do the shuffle.
