Back on the "1 fers"

Well, it was a weird weekend that's for sure... Saturday was Blue Bird skies and slight wind, but I couldn't find a lot of feeding fish... and the ones I found, I blew the presentation. Today was a little better and after seeing all those Bass whacking the shad up in the coves while I was looking for Hillbilly Bones I had to have some fun while waiting for the cloud cover to burn off....
Caught a half dozen of these guys this morning... fun stuff!!
The clouds didn't burn off as much as I had anticipated so I went in search of Gold!!
Most of my usual spots had Bass fishermen on them so I decided to try some new water. Found a nice cut that held some fish and struck Gold!! Spooked a bunch of fish though.... Went 1 for 12 today... just couldn't get the fly where it needed to be!
