Econfina 10/24/11

Started fishing out of the Econfina around noon on Monday, 10/24/11. Headed East and had no luck. The wind was blowing. Decided to run towards the Aucilla and try it. The wind was still blowing but managed to catch about 6 keeper trout (17 to 20 inches) and let them go. Fished jigs (glow) on bottom behind Possum Island and picked up 8 nice flounders. That was a first!! Had a nice day on the water with my son. Ended up leaving about 3:30 PM due to the wind being a little strong.

Very nice first report.
You weren't selling a thing. You also didn't ask for the GPS coordinates of the pothole 43 feet southwest of Grey Mare, the mean low tide data on the next waning full moon or what color socks to wear when casting a medium action Ugly Stick left-handed.
