Was on the water by 12:30, some wind but not real bad, water was low "more so than I expected" and still very muddy. We fished all my hot spots and every other spot I could think of and only got a total of 2 strikes, nothing landed

Did see a Red swimming next to the boat on one drift up the lower Sopchoppy "around 25" to 30" long" but he would not hit our Rapala's

One of the worst catchin days in a long time, but really enjoyed fishin with the wife again "she may not fish again during the Winter"

All's I can say is, go try em and hope they is bitein
PS: Tom, the ramp at the Park is NOT being worked on so ya'll should be good ta go

wevans, there was some talk last night at the NFGFC meeting that there might be another tourny going out of the park on Saturday...you know anything about that?

Yep, tourny launch area's are the State Park and Mashes Sands

The fact that we saw a Red in the lower Sopchoppy should mean some good Red fishin around the park

Yes...I know we have those two locations as launch sites but there was some question that there might be another group (NON NFGFC) who was going to be using the State Park. Just thought you might have seen something or knew if that was the case.

I lived in a place like that once....weekend tournaments for... darts, horseshoes, mullet toss, worm grunt'n, arm wrestling, hand fish'n, seed spit'n, ... It can be real wear'n on you to live smack in the middle of a social hot spot.
