SGI - 13 Nov 2011

Post by Terrier »

Went to SGI today and fished the Youth Camp Boat ramp. Had some good activity early, during the first couple of hours after low tide. I got 2 keeper trout: one at 20", one at 17. Also, two shorts at 14" .

The 20" and one of the shorts came on a chart/white/pink marabou and ostrich clouser. The other two came on an orange/root beer marabou clouser.

20" inch trout :

17" trout:

The trout fought well, esp. the 20".

Broiled them in butter and olive oil for dinner tonight.
