It is an all-black hybrid graphite black pole (hence the 4.2lb weight - 3.5 oz/ft x 21 ft = just over 4lbs). Can't figure out how to get the picture on here, but email me at gdroze@maclay.org and I'll copy all of you a photo of it, taken yesterday.

JT, you don't know how close to right you are. My wife went with me for first time last week, and snapped pix of me stuck past my knees in Stoney Bayou goop (she was smart enough to stay on the levee). Pix stay under wraps until I'm dead & gone.
