Mexico Beach is a drinking village with a fishing problem. There are four things that adults do there. One is to drink, Two is to Fish, Three is to pass out on the sand and Four is to attempt drink yourself sober.

Only restaurant I can't recommend is Toucans, although your tastes may vary and the cooks may have changed. There is a little cafe in the middle of town that has a really good breakfast. Just a short drive away is the Sunset Grill in Port St. Joe, also Peppers Mexican restaurant and then about 10 miles further on C30 is the Indian Pass Rawbar. Heading West is Panama City. Unlike some, I like Capt Anderson's and a meal in the later afternoon when the boats are coming in is always interesting. PC also has a Carabbas, which is always excellent.

There is also a nice restaraunt down the street from Peppers that is good for steaks, etc.

Killer Seafood in Mexico Beach is great. Toucans is a tourist trap. The fish house on the west end of the beach is ok. Baileys Steam Bar in St. Joe Beach is pretty good too.

Indian Pass raw bar. Eat there the first night so you will have time to go back.

I lived there most of last Summer fishing and working. As mentioned above PSJ has good restaurants like Sunset Grill and the Indian Pass Raw Bar is a big favorite, however I spent a lot of evenings at MB walking over and eating at Mango Marley's. Great food, nice local folks, live music some nights, and addictive wings & hot sauce!

The Raw Bar is awesome. I can't believe nobdy has recomended you check out Paul Gant's BBQ and take some back to the house. Football, beer and BBQ is a great combo!

Mexico Beach - Fish House (Seafood and good breakfast), Two Crabs (Raw steamed seafood), I personally am not a fan of Toucans. Also Beach Pizza has good sandwiches and pizza. Sharons has good breakfast but be prepared to wait and wait and wait.

Joe Mama's in PSJ is great (when it's open) Gotta love the "build your own pizza" fresh items, decent price.
