Looking for something that's decent on gas with good interior and exterior. I can fix most mechanical problems
Don't want to spend more than $3,000 max

Wow you are a hard car trader. We have a 2003 Honda Coupe we might part with but it will take more than that.

Do you have any idea what normally happens to the first car that a teenager gets

Might not be a bad thing for her to learn a manual.
I heard a report that new military vehicles are all auto trans because there are not enough recruits that know how to drive a manual.

My girl is taking college courses as a freshman in HS
I don't foresee the military in her future

The military thing was just an aside, referring to our culture in general. By the way, what is wrong with West Point? Annapolis? Colorado Springs?.....just sayin....

She is in the Medical Academy in HS and plans to be a doctor
