The winds are 15-25 mph and a little over cast. Is it safe yall think to go out? I was really only on panning to go up river

River will be fine, enough trees to block the wind. A lot of water movement this weekend so pick one of the first three bends after the power plant and drop some shrimp.

Pretty good deal, setty7. My momma always said, "Never go out on purpose in conditions you haven't already gone out in before by accident." :smt045

15-25 on the river will keep the gnats off of you. Go fish.

Harmsway, yo mama was wise!

Setty7, you seem to be wise as well. There will be a better day some day but if you like a challange.....go! Be careful!

Setty7 made a good choice by not going this morning. Low tides and north winds do not make good boat partners in the panhandle of Florida.

We made a short trip on Saturday. Fished from about 2-5. Went up the St. Marks a good ways with nothing to show. Came back to the first couple bends past the power plant and put two keeper reds in the boat. Shrimp on the bottom. I agree with the others that you should only go if you feel comfortable, fish will be there another day. I passed on going Sunday. It was just way to cold.
