Wow, really funny. Do you have any idea really how much harder it is to get in to UF than fsu? I know it is supposed to be a joke, but come on. Make fun of football all you want, but the academics at fsu are a joke compared to UF. Stay thirsty my friends.

It is harder to get into UF because that county allows strip bars.
They can be more choosey because of the nightlife entertainment.
The majority of students are strippers or in sports.
What position did you play SG?

They need some entetrtainment b/c there is not a redfish within miles of UF.

No JT it is harder to get into because it is a more competitive, better school. All kidding aside I do take my education seriously, I graduated with honors from the animal science program. Graduated with a 3.25 from the College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked extremely hard for both, and worked even harder to get into said programs. I take a lot of pride in knowing how competitive and outstanding my alma mater is. Also we have an architecture school, business school, dental school, vet school and a Well Established medical and law school. And I'm sure there are a few more I'm leaving out. As far as the strippers, cafe risqué is 2 exits south on I 75. None in Gainesville( unfortunately).
And showboat, cedar key is 45 min from gville. And I've gotta say, the redfishing there is better than it is here. Hate to say it but it is true. I'm sorry I even responded to this post. Long day at the office maybe have gotten my panties in a wad.

Anytime Brian. I'd love to fish with you. I know it can be great up here. But it can be on fire there also. A few guys take at least one if not 2 trips there every year. I'll let you know next time we go and you can come along if you'd like. Your boat would dominate that area. We usually put in at shell mound park and fish from there to the preacher hole area. Check it out on google maps. Sick!!

Since I got one hangin' on my wall, I can tell you that the Masters of Tax Program at UF is top knotch. I had my choice of schools all over the country, but only NYU was slightly higher rated. I must admit though, the fact that there was NO sports activities within reasonable distance of NYU did play into my decision.

You sure that wasn't the stripclubs? It's hard to tell in Gainesville.

SG, what year did you graduate from Vet school? My son graduated in 2008.
