Had a chance to go fishing twice this week and decided to make the most of it. Tuesday morning my buddy from work and I decided to head down to econfina for a little early morning fishing(I had school at 1 so this left us about 4 hours to fish). We headed out to various creeks and ended up grindin out a limit of 10-1(due to an inefficient manner to boat the fish without a net). All good fish and all in the slot. Don't go looking for grass however because you will not find ANY.(will post pics when I get em)

Today I had another opportunity to pre-fish keaton before the tourney next saturday. Me and my friend got there before daybreak and headed out. The first three fish we caught were all over 20'' with one of those being a 27'' snake. Ended up grindin out a limit and getting out of the gail-force winds that were blowing all day.

Man, that fish is looong and skinny. It should have weighed twice that much.

I recognize the background at your spot. It's one of Jumptrout's fishin holes.

Awesome fish and thanks for the report.

Nice fish. What depth were the fish at? Most people I have heard from were catching them fairly shallow.
