How many of yall have LED lights on your trailers, I'm tired of fixing lights every year. Are LED lights better, do they last longer ?

Money well spent, mine have lasted 3 years without issue, which is 2.5 years longer than the old style.

i love mine, makes your boat trailer bright and it looks alot better. no issues out of mine.

LED lights are great for boat trailers. They burn cool and last forever if you get good ones.
Before I retired we had some MFG agents, repetitiveness that worked for our company that handled a few LED light lines. Some of the first ones out of China were crap and a lot of issues. The box stores jumped on the China stuff because of price and it is still hard to find what I consider the good ones.
What are the good ones you ask?
Peterson lights. Yes some of their lights are made in China. But these are built to Peterson's requirements.
Look at the trucking industry and you will see almost 90% Peterson lights.
Peterson lights are hard to find in the retail box stores, in fact I do not know of 1 that carry s them. Northern Tool and Tractor Supply have a good selection.

I just replaced all the lights on my new to me Pathfinder with a good Continential aluminum trailer! Half the lights worked and half did not so it was not hard to replace the existing lights with Blazer LED lights that I picked up at the local Walmart. Took bout 3 hours to wire correctly but they work so much better than what was on the trailer!! I peronally think it is a Good investment!!

LEDs are definitely more expensive than conventional lights but seem to last much longer. I replaced all of mine 4 or 5 yrs ago. Moved the brake/stop/turn ones to the guide posts to get them out of water and added the clearance ones that slip over the top of the guide posts. Also replaced the other clearance and tag lights and they get dunked all time. The LEDs are brighter too. My trailer is lit up like a Christmas tree at night.
Truck stops usually have a good selection of lights available (Flying J, Pilot, etc.).
