Headed out of Mashes Sands early Sat. to the lowest tide I have ever seen at the mouth of the O. Awesome.
With reports that pinfish are showing up, we headed to a great bait spot only to find nada.
Headed to our spot and again, nada, and I mean nada frikking thing.
Seeing it was going to be a long day, we decided to call it early and head in.
Bout a third of the way back we ran up on a school of these thugs. Never seen them throw down like that other the videos posted here.
The closest rod was the smallest, but my man got him in with 10lb braid. New boat record!

What a monster!!! I don't know which is bigger, the fish or your smile!!! Get that picture in a fame.

Seriously, my eyes almost fell out of their sockets. AWESOME CATCH!

What was really awesome was the school.
There were about 40 of them tearing it up.
They just appeared in front of us at wot.
I couldn't get down off plane fast enough before running into them and scattering them.
Had a half ton of meat under the boat for a few seconds.
We're truly blessed to live with this paradise.
