Sad day for Braves fans

Chipper Jones just announced he's retiring at the end of this season. He's currently the longest tenured active player with one club--18 years.
Sharing company with the likes of Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial and Eddie Murray among others, with more than 450 homers, 1,500 RBIs and a .304 career batting average, he's a sure Hall of Famer. He was the NL MVP and a seven-time All Star. And he accomplished all this with his natural ability, not PEDs.
Even more importantly, he's been a loyal Brave and the face of the franchise. He restructured his contract for less money and changed positions to help the team. It'll be the end of an era and the only way to send him our properly is with another World Championship ring and trophy.
