Where to fish in Panama City

I've fished Keaton Beach my whole life but will be in Panama City the weekend of the 11th and was wondering if there are any places I can safely fish out of a 17' Carolina Skiff? I'm primarily looking for trouts and reds so any help or recomendations would be appreciated.

You can fish anywhere in West Bay, North Bay, East Bay, or St. Andrews. If you put in at the college you can run north to West Bay, a short distance. There is decent trout fishing there.

So I'm guessing all theses points have a public boat ramp, if so which one would you recommend or avoid?

They all do have good boat ramps. I have had the best luck in West Bay. Mainly on the north shore side. I normally start out where West Bay and North Bay split and work back to the West.
