Tournament Date June 16th...
The Tournament will benefit the family of Emily Coker 50% of the entries will be given to the family the other 50% will be given to the winners.
Emily Coker began her kidney battle when she was 2 yrs old. Travis and Teresa were told their daughter would grow out of this condition by her teen years, but unfortunately the last few months have proven otherwise. Emily has stumped the doctors with her past few relapses; her most recent hospital visit spending 12 days in Shand’s during the Easter holidays. Her condition is extremely painful with constant muscle cramps throughout her body, but Emily is a trooper and continues to fight with a sweet, but mighty spirit.
The doctor’s at Shand’s have recommended she see a team of doctors at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
During this 10-year time period of Emily’s illness, Teresa had breast cancer and went through multiple years of treatments and surgery. Travis was diagnosed with a chronic virus called Epstein Barr Virus 18 months ago and is getting better but is not completely well either.
The Coker’s church family, Cornerstone Fellowship Church is spawning a community-wide effort to help the Cokers with this extremely expensive trip and help with her medications which total over $1800 each month.
