Looking for Z-Man Scented Shrimpz

I really like the ElaZtech baits and have been trying to track down a shrimp version lately with no sucesss. Crum's recently got in an assortment of Z-Man products. They have the Scented Paddlerz and the Unscented Minnowz, but I've yet to find the Scented Shrimpz anywhere, locally. Crum's did also have single Shrimpz rigged on a weighted hook and other ones on a chatterbait, but I'm looking for the 5-packs that come impregnated with Pro-Cure. I don't mind ordering them, but would rather buy them out of a store in the Wakulla/Tallahassee area, if possible.

Thanks.

Did you tell the folks at Crum's what you wanted? They will generally include it in the next order they place, if you tell them about it.

No, I did not. During my next visit, I'll mention it to the lady (Anne?), since she's always so helpful.

Thanks for the heads up. Next time I'm in that area, I'll just swing by and check them out.

Went into Walmart in Crawfordville earlier today and was pleased to see that they now carry the Z-Man Scented Shrimpz and Paddlerz. Glad to finally have them locally, so no longer the need to order them. Love these baits, they are a great alternative to Gulp.

Do they have the 3" ones or 4"?

The 3s are too small, and I think the 4s are only sold in Australia or something cause they are hard to find.

I got excited about the zman's bait several months ago. Ordered about $50.00 worth and can't seems to catch trout with them. I rig them just like gulp.

Am I rigging wrong?

Mrs George sells them in Quitman.

How do you rig?

Which bait are you using, the Shrimpz? I've had a lot of success on Speckled Trout using the Paddlerz (New Penny Color on a Jighead) underneath a popping cork on the St. Marks Flats. I think the Shrimpz work better reverse rigged on a weighted hook like in this video...

I have both the Shrimpz and the Paddlerz. I've not used the Paddlerz much. We have caught a few trout on the Shrimpz. I've even thought of using the weighted hook but have not use them. In some situations it might work using nothing but a worm hook and a cork or a leader on the end of a plug so it can be thrown out. Just enough weight for the bait to slowly sink. They are a little difficult to get on a hook but once on, difficult to get off.

Thanks for the post!

I've a lot to learn in using this bait but it may have potential.
