Man,why is everyone giving Brian such a hard time? Do you think he likes postponing tourneys? With all the whining and bitching that goes on, I'm suprised he is still doing this. Guess what folks, it can be windy in the spring. No one held a gun to anyones head, so if you aren't cut out for the unexpected pitfalls of tourney fishing, then keep your money and go fishing w your friends, or sit home and watch addictive fishing. Otherwise read the rules and don't complain if it doesn't work out for you.

I don't think everyone is complaining as Salty Gator mentioned. I posed the question and (did not receive an answer) on an earlier post as to whether there would be a makeup date announced prior to the original tournament. It would just make since to me to do this. I think only one tournament has gone off on the original set date. Sorry if I am not correct on this. I guess what I am trying to say is had the makeup date been announced as May 12th, I would not have signed up to fish the tournament. Mothers Day and wedding to attend. Yall have fun.

I have no doubt that after this year Brian will have a make up date in place for the fall tourney. I understand reelbads problem and it is unfortunate, and happened to me in the past. The first(or 2nd) RTS didn't have the rule about rescheduling in event of a small craft advisory. There was a small craft advisory that day. Some fished some didn't. Well, those that didn't made a fuss that it was dangerous and foolish to have a tourney during a sca. Then he put the rule in place about the automatic rescheduling, and when it happens some get upset. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. The guy is just trying to put on a good tourney with a fat payout. Let's cut him some slack. You never know, he's reasonable, he may consider letting you use your buy in for the fall tourney if you can't fish this weekend.

I wonder if the payouts are gonna be even "fatter" since there are no REFUNDS as TJ stated and there are more boats getting in the tourny......... Just Sayin!

Willis anthing he makes over the advertised payout is his business, why you hate'n dude ? you might get a few to follow you but most of us understand the rules.

I'm with Willis on this one....Have an Alternate date in advance then you can have a NO REFUND policy. Arbitrarily pick a date after postponement, at least have an option to let guys get there money back and then you can fill those slots, but dont just add guys to fill your pockets. That's not what it's about or is it?

See ya'll in Carabelle. Looking forward to collecting Willis' money. If he starts being nicer maybe RC and I'll will buy him a drink next week to help him forget about all the unfairness he has been subjected to in life.
