Tailspotspotter, another fine member of BBF.net, and I put the boat in at the lighthouse around 1:00. Wind was howling. Headed up East River. Between the wind and the current, it took us a few passes to get the anchor to hold. Finally got it to grip, and the bite was on. Caught a whole mess of reds. Each took home a 25 incher.
The ride back to the ramp was a beeeeeyotch. Whitecaps in East River. Good 3 foot seas with some ripping cross-waves at the mouth of the River. Made it back safe and dry. Another great day on the water.

Nope. There were white caps at the spot I fished before the Social. So I removed the GPS tracker Wevans stuck on my hull and went looking for a more hospitable spot and found one.
