You can put in at the fish camp only on the N end. All other ramps are a no go and that was before the drain. There will be about 80 ac of water left on the N end and that will be it out of 6,300 ac...I had 6 bass blow up on top water yesterday evening and caught 5 of them. all keepers (size limit wise) and nothing over 3lbs. it was a good trip..

Fished yester evening from 7-9 and 2 of us caught 18 bass.

FWC had to close the gate 24 hrs after opening it. Opening a 36" pip all the way will tear something up I tell ya. The back side of the spill way undermined and from what I heard it will take $100K to repair it.....They have a smaller gate opened now and still draining.

Made it out there yesterday morning with my son , we caught about 20 bass nothing bigger than 2 lbs, 9 specs, 3 big bream , and about a dozen or so chain pickerel , all and all a good day, boat did great and didn't get rained on and was back at the ramp at noon. Caught most bass on a June bug speed worn and a watermelon red super fluke and a couple on a spro frog, bream and spec's came in on a slider spin white pink swim tail. Thanks for info micci man, hope I can make it back before the water is gone :D

Glad you made it out kenfly. I'm sure the boy enjoyed it as well as you. There will be about 80ac left on the N end and you won't need a boat, you can walk accross the gator backs to get around :-D

That is no joke, I have always known that was a lot of gators out there, but they are thick!! We rolled into one spot to try and I was surveying the area and I saw not 1, not 2, but 6 grown gators and told my son there was to much competition in the area and moved on, could not help to keep thinking in my head Scoot Em!! Lol
