St. Marks Lighthouse 6.14

Post by Badbagger »

The wife and I headed towards the lighthouse and got there around 8:30 and lines were in the water soon after. She was busy catching the fish and I was busy, taking her fish off the hook lol. Dead in front of the lighthouse about 1/2 mile off short in around 5' of water. Flat calm, fish were everywhere. She caught somewhere in the area of 20. Monster tailing reds but we couldn't buy a bite with them today. Wife - 20 give or take, husband... don't ask... 2. Of course I was busy removing fish lol. Several shorts and several keepers all in all, she fished my lights out today.
The Gulp and popping corks did the deed.

That it was... like glass. Not a ripple in the water till close to noon. Headed to the ramp about 12:30 and back in Tally just after 1:15 and the skies opened up.
Bailed out just in time lol.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
