Okeeheepkee is the Creek Indian term for “disappearing waters,” and the original name of Lake Jackson. This is what Porter Sink looked like today. :o

That is an amazing natural phenomenon, I always wonder where the water goes.

I have a hat like that (not the young lady's titfer) . :)

Crazy and amazing. I sure wish the water levels would stay up for a bit though.
