Use this area to post freshwater fishing reports from the area lakes and rivers. Please try to include relevant information such as:
Location, date, time, water conditions, weather conditions, baits, techniques, species caught, etc.
Lots of gators...that's about all I can tell you. Honestly, I've only fished it once. Saw a couple of gators about the size of my canoe (13 feet). Lots and lots of vegetation. I'd probably keep something handy to beat through the weeds. Braided line and heavy jigs, worms...that kinda of thing. Sorry I can't be more help.
The fish should be shallow. Work the boat trails with paddle tails and a texas rig. If I had to fish a tournament there tomorrow I'd probably lean toward the paddle tail.

Hey Don't give up on the bar there. Was kind of nice to have at 7:00 in the a.m. when it was so cold. The fish was like fishing the flats, once we found them they bit any color worm that we threw at them.
Not much choice at the biker bar though. Better off bringing your own.
