Hello to all...
I just purchased a boat. !5' Key West w/ 40 Yamaha and I am ready to roll. I grew up in this area but always fished with others. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks to Scott at Jerry's for the advice and new pole!

See you on the flats.

Any of you new guys to the area who would like to fish with me out of Oyster Bay are invited.

You'll have to ride on my 24 ft pontoon boat "FLAT BROKE" because you can't put in at Shell Point and the run from the Light house is about four miles. If you did want to run over in your boat and join me that's ok too.

I'd be happy top have you fish with me on my boat if you have no boat, without any cost to you ( for the time being until I start chartering later on).

Just bring your gear and your lunch. I fish west of the light house and west of Oyster Bay, for my own enjoyment that is uless I'm paid. I fish several times a week and usually on weekends and most of the time alone.

X - Welcome to the board, I am a new member as well, just posted my first few topics/questions and have read many of the posts and found a few interesting tidbits of info. My limited knowledge says that the fishing is about to explode on the flats, as soon as the sea temp warms up to around 67 to 70 degrees. I went out last weekend and had limited success, but the weather was beautiful, just enjoyable to be on the water!
