Just got off the phone with Trouttrent. He and a buddy put in at Carrabelle to try for trout and reds.
Said the water is black in the entire bay.
Said the storm cut through Dog Island at Shipping Cove creating Dog Island and Little Dog Island.
They caught 1 trout and 1 red.

The water is dark. I'm looking at it right now. We ran the length of Dog today twice and did not see any new pass. The reds were spooky and hard to see. We did catch some of the biggest trout I've ever caught here. Several fish between 3 to 4 pounds on the boga. All where released to make some babies.

I also ran the Island yesterday (6-29). Still one island, but the narrow points are more narrow than ever, and lower. They may have overwashed during the storm but don't seem to have "broken" fully. Several houses fell in that were already pretty near that point before. I think the house that had the folks rescued by chopper is still there, but leaning.

Tournament??? What tournament? If I had known that I would have tied them to a stake for safe keeping.
