Water is too stained to see bottom in 1 foot.

Thats because the water has so much sewer run off out of the septic tanks..and Scallop's are bottom feeders

Dilution of the pollution, and the salt coming bck will change that. Just how much volume from septic tanks is there to worry about?

You can catch more than you want to clean. You do need to slither along the bottom to see them. Getting ready to have some dinner.

4-6 ft visibility on the flats east of st marks. Plenty of scallops to be found in 8ft of water. Had to work a little with the reduced vis so dinner is extra special tonight cooking up a limit.

85 water is clear south of Keaton scallops there just have work hard.
