Hey Everyone. Want to dovetail on Redbelly's inquiry. Any reports on scallop action around Keaton Beach area?

They were doing well in the clearer water north of Keaton around Grassy Island on the 4th.

Any more reports on scallops now? Are they in shallow water around Keaton yet?

On the 6th we almost limited near grassy with great visability. But on the 15th the water looked like coffee past Piney point towards Grassy. We wound up with about 3 gallons near Dekle.

Officers Chad Albritton and Joshua Bembry were watching individuals scallop near Keaton when they observed an individual harvest what appeared to be well over the bag limit of bay scallops. The vessel was stopped for a resource inspection and the subject was found in possession of 11 gallons of whole bay scallops; nine gallons over the daily bag limit.

Why does the FWC watch the folks go over the limit ? Wait don't, I already know !
