Sunday drive

Post by lonesouth »

Got up Sunday, made breakfast for the family and decided to head out for a drive. Took the kid in the bronco, and headed over to Lake Talquin to pick up a buddy. From there, we took Spring Creek road till the bridge work, turned around and hit the detour on 37 over to 67. 67 down to Carabelle. It was a nice drive, had a good time catching up and checking out the area. Its been years since I was last in Carabelle. Stopped in three gas stations and not one had vanilla cookies with lemon filling, it was disappointing. Headed out of Carabelle to Sopchoppy and stopped for gas, then back on 319 to 267 to take Scooter home. Made it back to the house around 1. Total of 200 miles. It was a bit hot, but a good time for sure. If you saw a tan early Bronco with a back soft top, sides and back rolled up, that was us.
