St Marks OR Keaton??

Not at all the "weekend warrior" type,usually got with the fiance or a co-worker during the week but we've got and open shot Saturday to go Scalloping and maybe even fish a little.Not many great scallop reports of yet so really torn about where we should strike out to,I'm good with either so can you guys offer up some help on water clarity,depth...or am I gonna be swimming in murk?She and I both really need to get away Saturday..Any solid advice??? Thanks in advance,Gents.

The water at Keaton south is clear we got our scallops in 5' of water yesterday.

I have not been out of either place yet but from what I read there are at least some out of Keaton, I think I read south. I read that there was at least 80= boats out of St. Marks but did not know how they did. I think that they are there but I'm not going to go for at least 1 more week to let some more of the idiots leave.

Did a little fishing Sunday afternoon North of KB, water was a little murky, report at the marina was very few scallops. We put an 18" & 20" trout on ice along with a 14" sea bass. Pretty choppy too.

How far approx. is it to Big Grassy/Grass Island? from the pier at Keaton?

About 6.5 miles from KB #1 marker
