There have been documented cases of bull sharks up the Mississippi River almost to St. Louis, so the ICW is not a stretch at all. Bet those two had to clean their shorts after that little episode, however.

I've had bulls eat redfish twice over the last 10 years, once behind Dog Island and the other near Palmetto east of the lighthouse. The remaining head and shoulders of the Palmetto red weighed 8 pounds on the Boga, so Jaws has no problem snacking on large morsels. :lick:

I had a lady fish ate by the boat last week. I swear it had stripes like a tiger but it happened really fast. 8)

happens to me a couple times a year. During the Classic last week I had about a six footer push my spook then open its bushel basket mouth and take my plug in less than 2' of water. They vanish as quick is they appear which is what always amazes me. last year lost a 5# trout at Acullia and a couple smaller fish in Carabelle. Cost of operation.

That young man is lucky to still have a net and his shoulder.

This video was filmed about 10 minutes south of my parents' vacation house, right on the NC/SC line. There have been 7 shark attacks on swimmers in that area in the last 2 months!!! :o

What with gators and sharks and God knows what else, I'm going to limit my swimming to the swimming pool.

I've had sharks take Trout that I was reeling in many times over the years. Reel in just a head, or half a fish. I've seen Bull sharks down by Yates creek run slap up onto the bank chasing Mullet. They would have to flop around just to get back into deep enough water to swim off.
Once my wife and I were way up Little Warrior Creek in a 13 foot boat, when three big gators came out of the marsh swimming down the creek straight at us. We looked in the other dirrection, and at least six or seven big bull sharks were coming up the creek towards our boat. Too shallow to fire up the gas motor, so I decided it was safer to run through the sharks with my trolling motor. To this day my wife won't go back up that creek with me.
