Needed to upgrade for a book project I'm working on, so my old digital recorder is available. It works perfectly and is ideal for recording notes, lectures, sermons, conversations between Lt. governors and aides, etc.

Olympus VN-1800 with built-in flash memory: 16MB

HQ Mode: approx. 45 minutes recording time
SP Mode: 67 minutes
LP Mode: 180 minutes

Built-in 28 mm speaker
Excellent mike (used it to record boat performance tests at WOT and you can hear fine over engine noise/wind)

Operates on (2) AAA batteries and comes with the instruction pamphlet
