Seatrout Shootout date?

Hey Redtrout,
Have you come up with a date for the Seatrout Shootout this fall yet? Would like to get it on the calendar to plan accordingly.
Hopefully with the new rules we'll be able to get this one in on the first go-round. Will it be a slot format again like last year?

Talked to one of the guys at Kevin's yesterday and they're still trying to finalize a date. Juggling the opening of dove season, football games, tides/moon, the big Obama rally, etc.
Hope they pin it down soon. Looking forward to the competition. And rumor has it the Small Craft Advisory stipulation will be stricken from the rules.

Apparently I missed this post silverking. Sorry bout that. The tournament is taking place on Sunday, September 16. Weigh in will be at Jerry's Bait & Tackle. Also, wanted to let everyone know that the rule regarding weather has changed. In other words the tournament will take place on 9-16-12.
